Vietnamese Horn Necklace
A beautiful celebration of creative reuse, this horn necklace from a small family workshop in Hanoi is made from natural, responsibly gathered bull’s-horn from local farms. Using heat and water, the horn is sculpted into shape and then faceted like a gem. The horns produce a range of earthy colors—from greys and blacks to greens and browns—so each necklace is unique.
Binh's grandfather started making bull’s-horn jewelry after the Vietnam War. Later, his mother turned that small workshop into a thriving business. When Binh finished his education, he returned to his family's 400-year-old village and expanded the workshop. He now employs 18 artisans, including eight members of his own family.
